The MIT Group, we are Plant Floor IT Specialists. We've been helping to connect and optimize the enterprise since 1986.

Many companies suffer from a lack of, or overextension of IT resources. When companies do have resources available they often don't have the skills and experience necessary to successfully plan and deliver Plant Floor IT projects and applications. Plant Floor IT systems are often critical to achieving maximum levels of performance, efficiency and quality as well as meeting regulatory concerns.

The MIT group knows Plant Floor IT because... it's all we do. We fill a "gap" often found between the engineering department and the traditional business systems oriented IT department. We augment and enhance the capabilities of both departments. We also understand that operations often has unique requirements, objectives and goals that can be difficult to address because this functional gap. Frequently operations and plant managers are not quite sure who can help. Is it engineering or IT? Most often it's something in between that's needed to "fill the gap".
